Today I’ve rounded up our team’s favorite marketing blogs to share with you. We have discussed the benefits of blogs in the past, in relationship to your own business, and building your online community. Now, we are speaking as followers of blogs, ready to tell you where we go to learn, become inspired and be entertained.

Here is our list of what we feel are some of the best marketing blogs out there:

  1. Deep Design: Really smart, creative insight from James Archer, Chief Creative Officer at Forty. This blog is not updated as frequently as many others, but when a new piece is posted, it proves worth the wait.
  2. Hubspot: This is arguably one of the most popular blogs for marketers. New content is added daily, and Hubspot offers great thoughts about sales and other related topics, too.
  3. The Story of Telling: Bernadette Jiwa has a fresh take on telling your organization’s story in a way that resonates.
  4. brandchannel: We love brandchannel for its timely, frequently fresh perspective on the inspiration behind branding and how it has evolved.
  5. InVision: This is one of our team’s favorite tools. Their blog is full of advice on real-life creative situations. We frequently find ourselves sharing the latest relevant post with one another. (“Did you see what InVision had to say today?”)
  6. Inspiration Hut: A great place to admire and learn from what others are doing creatively. Be careful! You can get pulled into a rabbit hole of ideas for your next project!
  7. Social Media Examiner: For me, this blog offers some of the most comprehensive, approachable content related to effective social media marketing.
  8. Search Engine Journal: This is a great resource for ideas for SEO, SEM and social media, and a good place to keep up-to-date on industry news.
  9. Express Writers: I love this blog. It’s got great content, and it’s also funny, easy to navigate and visually appealing.
  10. Copyblogger: Another personal favorite. I have learned a lot about content marketing from following this blog.

“I can’t follow one more blog. I can barely keep up with my inbox as it is.” If this sounds like you, try using a tool like feedly. Set up a free account and start adding the blogs you follow. Feedly keeps all the blogs you follow in one spot, lets you organize by topic, tells you how many new posts are available, and even lets you bump your “can’t miss” blogs to the top of the list.

How about you? What are your favorite blogs to follow, either for your professional or personal interests? Which blogs do you feel are really getting it right, in terms of the value offered, and how information is presented? I’d love to hear your thoughts, and maybe find something new to add to my feedly!
